American Capital Story

American Capital Corporation

American Capital Corporation was founded in 1994 and is now one of the largest independent mortgage bankers/brokers in California.   Our mission is to provide superior customer service, quality products, and great pricing in order to guaranty that the client has a positive loan experience when obtaining Real Estate financing.

Mortgage Banking

American Capital has an onsite mortgage banking division called ACBN.  Our highly trained banking staff performs the underwriting, loan documents, and funding functions for our retail and wholesale client base.  ACBN has been an innovator in products, pricing and technology for over 11 years, and has an impeccable reputation with its customer and investor base.  Investors such as Chase, GMAC, Wells Fargo, and Suntrust are the lenders ACBN sells closed loans to.  These are the product and price lenders in the industry, which insures our client base is receiving the best loan possible.

Mortgage Brokering

American Capital also has many wholesale lenders we broker to, in order to guaranty the best pricing and products available for our clients.  Our processing and operations staff is filled with high quality, long term employees, who thrive in our positive work environment. We have over 300 Retail Loan Officers and over 400 broker relationships.  American Capital and ACBN support over 1000 loan originators and an annual funded loan volume in excess of $1 billion.

The three founders of American Capital each have over two decades of mortgage experience, are seasoned mortgage originators, and are active in continuing to improve the company with the latest technology and pricing tools in the industry.

Our business plan encompasses a wide range of objectives that we feel are important to meeting the high level of expectations for the Real Estate professionals, borrowers, lenders and investors. By being relentless in our execution of our business plan, and paying attention to the mission of the company, American Capital will continue to be a top performer in the mortgage industry.
